Fuse Energy Supply Limited is a UK-based renewable energy supplier operating under the Fuse Energy brand, founded in 2022 and headquartered at Level39, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf in London. The company delivers digital-first electricity services to consumers through a modern platform focused on transparent pricing, real-time billing visibility, EV-friendly tariffs and 24/7 customer support. Its offering spans commission-free electricity supply, Distributed Energy Resource (DER) installations, energy trading services, and retail electricity solutions, while its broader mission centres on reinvestment into renewable generation and clean energy infrastructure.
As a venture-backed, high-growth challenger competing with established players such as Octopus Energy, OVO Energy, and EDF Energy, Fuse Energy has scaled rapidly to ~222 employees on the back of approximately $158M in Series B funding. With this growth, the need for integrated systems and scalable processes across projects, costing, attendance, procurement, sales, and reporting became critical to maintain efficiency, financial control, and regulatory compliance.
Fuse Energy’s budgeting, planning, analytic accounting, sales, procurement, attendance, and reporting workflows were spread across disconnected spreadsheets, creating duplicate data entry and inconsistent records across functions.
Maintaining multiple manual tools drove up ongoing support and maintenance expenses and consumed finance and operations capacity that should have been focused on scale-up.
Disconnected systems created data silos and frequent mismatches between finance, HR, and operations datasets, slowing reporting cycles and financial close.
Attendance and labor hours were not systematically tied to project costs, preventing accurate measurement of project profitability and resource utilization.
Manual consolidation and reporting limited the company’s ability to scale operations efficiently as customer volumes and headcount continued to grow.

The core outcome of this engagement was a unified project costing framework that replaced Fuse Energy’s spreadsheet-based tracking. Bay Forward designed a structure where Projects, Analytic Accounting, Procurement, and Attendance are wired together so that every labor hour and every cost line flows into the correct project and analytic account automatically.
Project managers and finance now have real-time visibility into budgets, actual spend, labor utilization, and margin — replacing the month-end reconciliation cycles that previously dominated reporting.

Fuse Energy’s KIOSK attendance system was integrated with Odoo’s HR and Timesheet modules through a purpose-built connector. Bay Forward delivered a two-way data flow enabling:
Real-time capture of employee clock-in / clock-out events into Odoo
Automated translation of attendance data into project timesheet entries
Direct posting of labor hours into project analytic accounts
Audit-ready trail from time punch → timesheet → project cost line
This eliminated manual attendance consolidation, removed duplicate data entry between HR and finance, and established a single source of truth for labor and project cost data.

Bespoke dashboards were delivered on Odoo 19 Enterprise to give leadership a single operational view across all active projects.
These dashboards replaced multiple parallel spreadsheets that different teams previously maintained, establishing a single source of truth for project performance and making daily decision-making data-driven.
The organization shifted from fragmented spreadsheets to a unified, single source of truth on Odoo 19 Enterprise, connecting all core functions in one system. Project costing became fully traceable, from time punch to management reports, while leadership gained real-time visibility into labor and project performance instead of waiting for month-end insights. Seamless data flow across HR, Finance, and Operations eliminated manual gaps, and the platform now provides a scalable ERP foundation ready to support future growth with minimal friction.
